Hello, friends!
Welcome to the January 2023 newsletter. I’ve got lots and lots of wonderful news to share with you!
I Got Married
If you’ve wondered why I dropped off the face of the planet in recent weeks, here’s why!
The months leading up to the new year have been very busy! I traveled to Chile from the United States on Christmas Eve 2022 to spend Christmas and the New Year with my significant other and their family. I got very ill after traveling, so we had a bit of scrambling to do to prepare for the wedding after I recovered, but we did it!
Our wedding was January 24th!
Alongside that giant, but happy, life change, my spouse and I are in the middle of getting my visa application squared away. If all goes well, my cat and I will move to Chile soon!
But what else could possibly be going on?

My Debut Poetry Chapbook is Out
On December 13, 2022, I published my debut poetry chapbook, In Hopes of an End.
This 13-poem collection was years in the making. Some of the poems were written when I was still in college. And some are less than six months old!
In Hopes of an End explores the dichotomy of endings: negative and positive. This collection encompasses a tight look into grief and love. The bittersweet and the hopeful.
Currently, the chapbook is available via ebook, but I have plans to create a print version in the coming months.
