Hello, friends!
June is also a “short” month. With real life quickly moving ahead and two big projects to finish, I’ve been too busy for my usual content! By the end of July, we should be getting back to normal, so bear with me just a while longer.
Blog Updates
AH! There are none!
As you were forewarned, June has no new blog posts. Instead, I will provide you with this little dude looking for my blog posts.
Someone please tell him all my posts can be found on my author site (if you’re looking for book reviews and fun things) or on the Curly Quotes Editing site (if you’re looking for editing advice.)
I’m Looking for Books to Read
On that note, I’m looking for book recs! So, what’s your favorite book? Read anything good lately? Feel free to comment with a link to your own work! If I think it’s a good fit for what I’d like to read next, I’ll add it to my TBR, and you might see it in my book reviews one day!
Book Coaching for Fantasy Authors is Re-Opening on August 1st!
All right, folks, like the tin can says: Book Coaching for Fantasy Authors is re-opening on August first!
This rate will only be available for the first TWO authors who do book coaching with me. After that, my book coaching rates will rise to the competitive average! Take advantage of this deal while the spots are still open!
Obligatory Cat Photo
Darling Luci has settled in quite nicely to our new home in Chile! She’s settled into a routine of sleep, eat, potty, and play. You know, the average senior cat routine.
It’s winter here in Temuco, Chile, which means it’s cold and raining every day. Well, I say “cold,” but 50°F isn’t actually cold to me; I’m from Oklahoma. The nights average around 38°F, and while I don’t want to stand around in that outside, it’s perfectly fine indoors even without a heater.
Yes, I’ve definitely gone from insane-climate-that-cannot-make-up-its-mind to a much more temperate one. My in-laws keep asking me if I’m cold, because I’m still walking around in short sleeves and shorts. People on the streets are wearing full winter gear that I would literally be sweating in if I put that on in 50°F weather. I’ll stick with my raincoat.
I love hearing from my readers and fellow writers! While I may not be able to answer everyone, please know I always read and appreciate your comments and stories.
With much love,
~ Anna Faúndez
